DreamShield (malware remover) is an effective tool that allows you to scan, detect, and remove vulnerabilities or threats from your website. DreamShield will scan your website automatically at fixed intervals and will provide you and us with information regarding any issues that may exist with your websites.

Disabling your Account

Please note that DreamHost may temporarily or permanently disable your account if any sort of vulnerability is found on your website that cannot be removed with DreamShield. Our technical support representatives can provide you with instructions on how to re-enable your account if this happens.

Limitation of Liability

As amazing as DreamShield may be, please note that it isn't the be-all and end-all of website security! By utilizing DreamShield's services, you understand and agree that you are still solely responsible for the security and protection of your website.

DreamHost cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind that may arise out of DreamShield's ability or inability to scan, detect, and remove vulnerabilities from your website, and we make no guarantees about what DreamShield will be able to fix!

DreamHost does not warrant that DreamShield is intended to prevent, identify, or remedy any and all security threats. Further, you understand and agree that DreamShield's attempted fixes are not guaranteed, and that you are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your account, whether you did or did not authorize it.

Terms and Notices

While DreamShield has fixed scan intervals, DreamHost does not guarantee the intervals and duration of the scans; these are subject to change from time to time.

By using DreamShield, you agree to be bound by any and all terms and conditions on this page, and also agree and understand that DreamHost may amend this Agreement at any time by posting updated terms. If You don't agree with the Agreement or any of its changes, Your sole remedy is to stop using DreamShield. Your continued use of DreamShield after the Agreement has been posted and/or updated constitutes your full acceptance of all modifications and current terms. You agree to still be bound by all of DreamHost's terms of service that are applicable to your account, including any limitations of liability, indemnification, termination, and other legal stipulations.
